Project: Deki Factory
Location: Noida
Carl Elefante is credited for saying ‘the greenest building is the one that is already built’. His idea seems implementation at a factory in Noida looking to improve its passive infrastructure while also dealing with high internal loads. The project follows four steps
- Analysis of the existing situation through energy models and existing consumption numbers
- Identification of improvement opportunities (in terms of envelope, internal layouts and HVAC) for each season
- Financial viability check and calculation of paybacks for each strategy
- Implementation of strategies based on targeted paybacks
